The first section is just basic information about your wedding day. Here are a few tips for you before hand:
If possible, make sure there is natural light in the room where the bride will be getting ready (window light). This makes a WORLD of difference in your photos!
If possible, please try to have all the details together before the photographer arrives so they can start on these items and you can then put them on! This includes: Dress, Jewelry (including the rings!), Shoes, Bouquet, Garter, Veil, Invitations, anything else you may want photos of that are special or unique to your event! Having all of these items for the photographer to work on first will be a big help and having an area with natural light for them to capture these items in will make these shots go by much faster.
Keep the area near the window where the bride will be getting ready clear of clutter, trash bags, folded clothing, etc. This will help to focus the images on the bride with less unpleasant distractions in the images.
Allow more time than less to get ready. You do not want to be rushed. If you want the photographer to capture the all the details, as well as the make up/hair process, all the bridesmaids getting ready, the groomsmen getting ready, the groom having his boutonnière placed on by his mother - I would schedule at least 1-2 hours of prep time bare minimum to ensure nothing is rushed.
Smile and relax!!! This is your WEDDING DAY!!! Be happy and in the moment! Absorb how it feels and focus on the joy and excitement of the moment!
